Getting to Lake Powell wasn't the problem... getting to the right part of the lake was a nightmare! Not only are there no roads that go around the lake, if you head to Bullfrog, you must take a ferry across the lake for $25 and go back the way you came and start over. For a 350 mile trip, we managed to double it.

A night spent in Torrey, UT...priceless! Heard of it? Neither had I...if you blink, you miss it.
Needless to say, we arrived a day late. Time to settle in and relax? Not yet...we had to switch rooms 3 times. Ever loaded/unloaded luggage, baby, and wheelchair three times in an hour in 100 degree weather? The only cure was to suit up and head down to the lake.Well, at least we didn't capsize a waverunner...
