Baby Boy to Little Man!

How the time flies! Tyler had two birthday parties this year; one at the park and one at home. More parties, more presents! Tyler loves his car bed he got from Grdma & Grdpa Parker and thanks to Grdma Nonnie for a full fall wardrobe! Here are the gifts he received from aunts, uncles, and cousins:

*not pictured* soccer ball from Grandpa
one killer 3-hole golf course from Jon and Rena
Thanks to everyone who made it special for Tyler, what a blast!

Good To See Ya

We've been fortunate to see a lot of family this year. First Bessie, then Rachel & Dave, the Bakes, and the Freemans. Then in October, we'll get to see Brandon's aunts and uncles in California. The only photos I have, I'll post:
Kelly, Missy, and me and Tyler took advantage of Pioneer Day and spent the day at Tai Pan and the Dinosaur museum. Tyler has grown quite fond of Dinosaurs...just as long they don't roar or move, a bit too scary.

Thanks to Missy for pointing out that there was a "Do Not Touch Exhibit" sign just to the left.

Summer Vacation 2007

Getting to Lake Powell wasn't the problem... getting to the right part of the lake was a nightmare! Not only are there no roads that go around the lake, if you head to Bullfrog, you must take a ferry across the lake for $25 and go back the way you came and start over. For a 350 mile trip, we managed to double it.
Overnight hotel stay...$80
Pizza dinner...$30
More gas...$50
A night spent in Torrey, UT...priceless! Heard of it? Neither had I...if you blink, you miss it.

Needless to say, we arrived a day late. Time to settle in and relax? Not yet...we had to switch rooms 3 times. Ever loaded/unloaded luggage, baby, and wheelchair three times in an hour in 100 degree weather? The only cure was to suit up and head down to the lake.
Well, at least we didn't capsize a waverunner...

Easter 2007

Easter was a hit this year! An array of food decorated our table Sunday morning. Stuffed raspberry french toast, fruit, cheesy eggs and croissants. Grdma Nonnie came to help us eat it, then we put Tyler down for a nap, a good opportunity to hide the eggs! Grdpa Marty arrived and it was time to hunt!

So happy eating chocolate!

Then it was off to Centerville for a ham dinner, so delicious! The weather was nice and the Easter Bunny left eggs all over the front lawn. Tyler was a pro at collecting eggs now and grabbed a bunch! Some contained balloons, bubbles and toys. After blowing bubbles and chasing balloons, we went inside to find that all of the kids had a gift waiting for them. They each got the story of Peter Rabbit and a big chocolate bunny. All in all, it was a great day!

Kickball, like in elementary school?

Hello fans! I copied Beck because she's cool and got myself a blog. I figure this will make it so Christmas cards are not necessary. jk. We'll see if I keep it maintained...

*News*I joined a kickball team and we play every Thursday night. I was suckered into it by a friend, and I'm glad I signed up. (See above if you don't remember what kickball is)

Here I am displaying my Guitar Hero skills at the after game party. If you have PS2, I highly recommend it!

Please stay tuned for the Easter blog!

Peace out!
